Improving Safeguarding in Schools (ISIS)

Are you meeting safeguarding standards in your school?

Improving Safeguarding in Schools (ISIS) ISIS is our new step-by-step online self-assessment guide to help schools in England audit how they are meeting safeguarding standards. It also allows schools to plan and then implement improvements by drawing on a variety of useful resources within the site.

What our pilot schools said about ISIS

"It made me think very much about what we’re doing in schools and what we need to do."

"This does more than just measuring; it gives you the next step. You know that it is what makes this valuable."

"It's actually going to give a lot of evidence to Ofsted...to have something like that, that we've already done, I think would be really good."

"It does help you to take your own understanding and the school forward in terms of safeguarding...it's actually achieving an awful lot."

An ISIS version for Wales is expected to be available in 2011/12.
