Thorntons

Thorntons adopted the NSPCC as its charity partner in August 2009 with a target of raising £40,000 in 12 months.

To date, the partnership has raised more than £8,000 for children and there are some great events planned for 2010.

In 2009, Thorntons was involved with a range of activities including the Letter from Santa fundraiser, and placing collection tins and FULL STOP pin badges at tills in all stores. They kindly donated an exclusive chocolate tasting experience which was auctioned in the NSPCC Dream Auction 2 on Ebay. 

In 2010 a team of 12 runners from Thorntons is taking on the challenge of the Virgin London Marathon in April and plans to launch an employee fundraising challenge to further engage with Thorntons staff.
