Children's Charity Sunday Dragon Boat Race Day

Date of event:  12 September 2010

Venue:  Bewl Reservoir, Lamberhurst, Kent

Time:  10.00 am - 4.00 pm

Get onboard!

Crews of 16 paddlers, plus a drummer, will race in Chinese-style Dragon Boats over a 250 metre course to raise funds in the beautiful surroundings of Bewl Reservoir in Kent.

Crews do not need to be super fit or skilled to be successful - all that's required is teamwork and a good sense of fun!  It's a great team-building exercise. Teams will compete in at least three races with the day culminating in an exciting final.

The race will be run by leading events company Dragon Boat Events Ltd who provide boats, helms, safety equipment, buoyancy aids and rescue boats.

A qualified helmsman is in each boat and you don't need to have previous experience to take part but you do have to be over 16 years old and be able to swim.

Reserve your boat

To reserve a boat and enter a team you will need to pay a non refundable entry fee of £350 and we do ask that each team goes on to raise an additional £1,000 sponsorship for the NSPCC.
